What is Distance Energy Healing and How Does It Work?

I’ve been asked if Energy Work and Reiki Therapy can be performed over great distances, via telephone. And the answer is yes. A fair amount of my Reiki and Chakra Clearing work occurs over the telephone. My client’s express great satisfaction and results with the practice. Let me explain.

I believe, and Reiki practitioners learn, that we can send healing light and energy across space and time to someone. This means our intent in using that healing light and energy can be used to cleanse rooms, homes and other geographic places. If someone is not physically present for a Reiki session, this same concept is used to connect to their energy to provide clearing of energy and healing.

Modern quantum physicists refer to the principle of entanglement. This is when one energy source entangles with another so that they interfere with each other. This interference can be positive and harmonious, as with energy healing, or it can be negative. This entanglement of energy is not limited to a set distance in space, and explains reiki distance healing techniques . (For more information, follow the link provided.)

Some have also compared distance reiki healing to the power of prayer. Prayer works largely because we believe we can send others our love, blessings, and intentions, connecting via the power of faith and prayer through our God or higher source. Reiki therapy works on similar principles if intent, faith, and belief that the universal life force energy is also the same as “God energy”.

Everyone has this life force energy and may access it. It is also known as Chi, Qi, or prana and flows through each of us and all living things. This energy is channeled for the healing benefit of others through the use of Reiki Therapy and Energy Healing, and can be utilized for distance Reiki .

  What Is It Like to Be In a Reiki or Energy Work Session? Read On. A Reiki Therapy session is typically performed in a quiet setting where disturbances are kept to a minimum. You can expect your practitioner to have a room dedicated to creating a quiet, softly lit space, where soft music and pleasant smells are present. Be sure to let your practitioner know if you would rather not have music. I like to use essential oils followed by a quite conversation to set a healing and comforting mood.
